2019 Bay Area Pet Fair & Adoption at the Alameda County Fairgrouns-Sat & Sun from 10 am - 5pm
The 9th annual Bay Area Pet Fair is the largest pet adoption event in Northern California with more than 2,000 adoptable pets waiting to find a new home. Nearly every pet shelter and rescue in the Bay Area is working together to get homeless pets into good homes in one weekend in one place. (Puppies/Dogs, Cats/Kittens, Bunnies, Guinea Pigs, and more)
Meet-and-greet with 2,000+ adoptable dogs, cats, bunnies, and small animals. Ready for a break? 39th Annual Comedy Day at Golden Gate Park-Sunday, September 15th from 12 pm to 5 pm at Robin Williams Meadow
The biggest single-day comedy event of the year in San Francisco is this annual five-hour free comedy show in Golden Gate park with over 40 comedians. Every year is different, but past surprise guests at Comedy Day have included Robin Williams, Whoopi Goldberg, Dave Chappelle, Eddie Izzard, Patton Oswalt, Ellen DeGeneres, Kids in the Hall, and many others.
