55th Annual Big Book Sale-Sept 18-22-10 am - 6 pm

Every year Friends of the San Francisco Public Library fills up the Festival Pavilion Pier at Fort Mason for the Big Book Sale,an iconic San Francisco tradition. There are about 500,000 books for sale from $2-$4. On Sunday all books will be just $1. All proceeds benefit the San Francisco Public Library.


24th Annual Lafayette Art & Wine Festival, one of the largest festivals in Contra Costa County held the 3rd weekend in September.

In past years, over 80,000 people strolled among the stalls of art, handmade crafts, sampling foods from top local restaurants and enjoying quality wines and microbrews, pausing to enjoy continuous music from two main stages. The event is FREE and held Saturday 09/21 & Sunday 09/22. Check out The Spazmatics & Neon Velvet who are two AWESOME 80's bands!
