Frankie Banali of Quiet Riot announced over the weekend in a social media post that he has been diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer. Frankie revealed that he has been battling the disease since this past spring. Frankie shared that he "feeling much better and stronger now," and also said that he will continue to play with the band through next year. He shared, "I just want to let all of my friends and fans know what's going on with me and why I have unfortunately missed some appearances this year." The statement was posted on podcaster Mitch Lafon's Facebook page. My prayers for health and strength are definitely going out to Frankie and his family.
