Wellness Shot: Massive Vegetable Recall

There’s been a recall of packaged vegetables due to concerns of LISTERIA contamination.

Listeria is a bacteria that can cause symptoms like fever and diarrhea. The products involved in the recall were packaged at Mann Packing in Salinas, CA.

The Mann brand is found at Safeway, Target and Whole Foods, and they can be sold under different labels like Trader Joe’s, Kroger, Safeway’s Signature Farms as well as O Organics.

The Mann Packing Company says no one has gotten sick, this recall is an overabundance of caution.

If you have vegetables packaged in a bag, a vegetable tray assortment, or even a bowl, check the date! If the ‘best buy’ date is between Oct. 11-Nov. 16, 2019 click on the list below. If your package is one included, toss it out! Click Here to see the list!!
