K.K. Downing Looking To Start A New Judas Priest

After spending the better part of 2019 whining that his ex-bandmates haven't asked him to return for Judas Priest's upcoming 50th anniversary, K.K. Downing says he's thinking about celebrating without them -- with a whole new Judas Priest.

Asked if he has plans to celebrate the milestone with Judas Priest, the band's ex-guitarist tells Metal Wani, "I haven't heard anything at all from the Priest camp whatsoever. That's not to say I couldn't take my own Priest band and celebrate myself. We'll see what happens."

The idea might not be as far-fetched as it sounds. Downing is currently in the U.K. for a one-off U.K. show in which he and former Priest members Les Binks and Tim "Ripper" Owens are performing a set of their former band's tunes.
