K. K. Downing Starts His Own Version Of Judas Priest

After 10 years of inactivity, K.K. Downing is again a member of Judas Priest. Well, sort of.

Downing has announced the formation of his own version of the veteran metal band, called "KK's Priest." Joining Downing are former Judas Priest members Tim "Ripper" Owens and Les Binks, as well as Hostile's A.J. Mills and Voodoo Six’s Tony Newton. "Forging ahead with KK’s Priest was not only inevitable, but essential for me to perform and deliver everything that is expected from me and KK’s Priest," Downing says. "Due to the massive demand and overwhelming support from fans around the world, I feel this is where I belong."

Downing says a tour, during which he and his bandmates will perform classic Priest tunes and new material, is in the works.
