Rick Springfield Parodies His Own Song While At Home

Rick Springfield has been quarantined at home with his inner comedian! Remember his song 'Love Somebody' from his Hard To Hold album? He gave it the Weird Al treatment and it became a germaphobe’s anthem, Glove Somebody!

I can see the path you’re cutting

Cost me a little piece of my heart

I can see the doors you’re shutting

'Cause they were open at the start

~Turned into~

I can see the droplets you’re spreading

I try to duck ‘em they’re really hard to see

I can feel the cells you’re shedding

As you sneeze on your baby and me

It continues on from there! It’s totally hilarious and a treat to get to know more about what makes one of our favorite artists from the 80s tick. Is it my imagination or does he sound a bit like Bob Dylan?
