Watch Regis Philbin Audition for Motley Crue

While looking back at TV giant Regis Philbin's career since his passing at 88 on Saturday, Loudwire's unearthed a 1997 clip when the talk show host auditioned for Motley Crue.

The clip shows Philbin trying to show the Crue his "looks that kill" while attempting to play a children's rock boogie on piano.

While hoping that the band didn't see him "as some kind of square" he bounced questions off of drummer Tommy Lee about his then marriage to Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson and even "complimented" that band on some new tattoos.
