Scandal Singer Patty Smyth Talks New Album In 28 Years (PODCAST)

In this episode of 'Talk Talk,' Martha Quinn chats with Scandal singer Patty Smyth about her first new music in 28 years. After spending most of the hiatus focused on writing, touring, and raising six kids with her husband John McEnroe, Patty has a rockin' new album out titled It's About Time. The album drops October 9 but you can pre-order now via this link!!!

While It's About Time is largely rooted in relationships, there are songs of change, challenge, insecurity, and also celebrations of longevity. Patty was 8 months pregnant when she turned down the offer to replace David Lee Roth in Van Halen. Her youngest daughter is now 21, and on "Build a Fire," she commemorates a quarter-century spent with McEnroe.
