Yet another musical talent competition is coming to TV – only this one promises to rock.
“No Cover” will feature such artists as Lzzy Hale, Gavin Rossdale, Alice Cooper and Sleeping With Sirens frontman Kellin Quinn, producers have revealed. Instead of pop hopefuls, the show will provide a venue for unsigned bands performing original music. They’ll compete for a six-figure recording contract, Cooper says.
“To me, a band really isn’t a band unless they are writing their own material,” Cooper says. “I’m looking for the band who has it all -- the one who can not only write it and play it, but perform it and make me believe it.”
They are looking for artists in rock/metal/punk/alternative/indie/hardcore/industrial/experimental/new wave/hip-hop/country/R&B worlds.
