According to SFGate, singer and guitarist of Thrash Metal band Megadeth Dave Mustaine reveals that he has been diagnosed with throat cancer. The 57-year-old founder and leader of Megadeth said most of their tour dates in 2019 would be cancelled. However, Mustaine said the 2019 Megacruise will still be happening, adding that members of the band are in the studio working on new material as well. Mustaine wrote on social media that he and his doctors have been working closely together, and came up with a treatment plan with a high success rate.
