Flashback: Berlin Lead Singer Terri Nunn's 1977 'Star Wars' Audition Tape

It always cool to see what 80's music stars were up to before they made it big in the music biz. Another such case would be Berlin's lead singer Terri Nunn who, before joining Berlin in 1978, auditioned for a role in a movie that would go on to be one of the biggest movies of all time. That movie was Star Wars. The role she was audtioning for: Princess Leia.

About the experience, she said: “It’s me and Harrison Ford learning the lines from the first Star Wars. It’s hilarious. George Lucas was just a kid at the time. Harrison Ford was even younger. I think I was 17. But I’m very happy I didn’t get that role, because my life would never have been music. Not ever. Not a chance.”
