(AUDIO) Never-Before-Heard Version Of "Runnin' With The Devil" Surfaces

Wow - check this out! It's a super-rare recording from Van Halen's early days has been discovered - a previously unheard alternate take of "Runnin' With the Devil".

The track, from the studio sessions for the band's 1978 debut album, features an extended guitar solo from Eddie Van Halen and a different lead vocal - you can even hear David Lee Roth call for "a little more volume in the headphones, please" at the beginning.

It's not clear how YouTuber 'Groovefunkel Second Helping' got their hands on the recording, but they released a similar alternate take of "Dance The Night Away" back in 2017. Check it out below.
