COVID-19 Emergency Response Program In San Francisco Is Looking For Help

San Francisco’s Department of Disability and Aging Services and non profit organization, Shanti Project, are getting together to help older and more vulnerable San Franciscans in this time of need. They are currently looking for volunteers who can help in grocery shopping, dog walking, mail pickup, and delivering essential products like medicine. If you are looking to volunteer you must be in good health and under the age of 60.

Email: helpnow@shanti.org or call 415.674.4701. Leave a voicemail expressing your interest and a Shanti staff member will return your call to take the next steps. A background check is needed to volunteer followed by a phone interview and training.

If you are not able to volunteer but still wish to help, you can donate. All donations are 100% tax-deductible, you can donate online at shanti.org/donate.
